On 7 May, the traditional running “Razna — Muokūna coln” will take place.

Have you started a running season? In the morning, in the evenings, try to find another place where you haven't been running, but i don't think it's too little? “Razna - Muokotoncoln 2016” is already waiting for you on 7 May, at 12:00 on the shore of Razna Lake (Mākoņkalna parish, Lipuškos)!
For the fifth year, the residents of Rēzekne municipality are invited to participate in an exciting event, running from Lake Razna to Mākoņkalna, with a total distance of 3.5 km, of which 400 in the last meters must run to the Volkenberg Castle ruins, at THE peak OF Mākoņkalna (Padebei hill)!
The people of Rezekne and other regions of the municipality may participate in the run, as well as the teams of the general educational school of Rezekne, who will fight for the title “puplest school”.
This year, the total prize fund is EUR 1000. The winners' money prize – 70 EURO is due to each of the first-place winners in their age group. 2 nd-3 rd-place winners and most attractive runners are special prizes. Each participant will receive a running commemorative prize. Awards for school teams – 1 st – 150 EURO, 2 nd place – 100 EURO, 3 rd place – 80 EURO. The prizes may be used for the purchase of sports equipment.
The participants of the competition may register on 7 May from 10:30 – 11:30, indicating the name, surname, birth data, while the school teams must log on until April 29. 12:00, sending a list of participants to e-mail: janis.saudins@saskarsme.lv. Students from Classes 1-12 and educators of the educational institution may apply for the school team.
The Rēzekne municipality is organized by an educational administration of the municipality of Rezekne and a parish administration OF Mākoņkalna.
