MR J. Poce will discuss the reform this week with twenty-two municipalities
The Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (LATVIA) and Minister Juris owl (AROUND!) will go to regional working visits to Jçkabpils, Rezekne, Ludza, Balvi and Madona, where consultations with local government parliamentarians on local government reform will continue.
Discussions at the Jçkabpils People's House with Accounty municipality, Jçkabpils City and Jçkabpils, Krustpils, Island and Viesīte District Members will take place on 19 June at a time. 10.00. On the same day at 15.00 consultations will continue in the City Council of Rezekne, meeting with representatives of Rezekne City, Rezekne municipality and Viļānu.
Discussions on the reform of Ciblas, Karsava, Ludza and Zilupes will take place at Ludza's People's House on 20 June at 10.00, but the prize at the National Gymnasium at 15.00 – for the provinces of Baltinava, prize, stubble and Vilaka. In turn, on 21 June at 10.00 The Minister of Madona cinema “Vidzeme” will meet with Members of the municipality of Cesvaine, Eagles, Luban, Madona and Varakalans.
All members of the above-mentioned municipalities are invited to consultations. They will be accompanied by Minister Juris owis, Deputy State Secretary for Regional Development Aivars Draudins and experts invited by the ministry, chief editor of the company “Jānis sēta”, Economy geograph Jānis Turlajs.
J. owl: “administrative territorial division” is discussed with almost half of the municipalities. Overall, i welcome these negotiations as productive. In support of the model proposed by the Ministry, we provide a broad overview of the economic and demographic situation and opportunities of each municipality in the future, which allows them to look at them in a broader context.
