New Chess Competition “Maltas Spring 2018”

On Saturday, May 12, Maltā was held by the young chess festival “Maltas Spris 2018” organised by the Rēzekne municipality, who gathered 26 children between 7 and 12 years, from Rezekne BJSS, ARPC “Zeimuļs” and Rezekne municipality BJSS.
The competition was followed by the Swiss system in seven stages. The new chess was divided into two groups according to the qualification.
The third group of sports classes fought 7 participants, including two girls. The gold medal was acquired by Adrian Tashkan (4 points) from the Rēzekne municipality, BJSS. Silver - Artemis Vinogradov (4 points) from Rēzekne BJSS. In third place Ilya Froļenkov (4 points) from Rezekne is led BY BJSS. All athletes met the 2 nd sports class norm. The best of two girls was Christine Georgia (4 points, 4 th place in total) from Rēzekne Municipality BJSS, silver - Verai Korshenkok from Rēzekne BJSS.
In the fourth class of sports classes, 19 participants struggled, one girl. The gold medal for Alexei Grigoriev (5.5 points) from Rezekne is led by BJSS. Silver David hawk (5,5 points) from ARPC “Zeimuļs”. Both complied with the 3 rd sports class norm. Bronze medal Artemis Bistrov (5 points) from Rēzekne BJSS. Gold medal in the girls' group for Karina Nebogatova Rēzekne is led by BJSS.
