The Water Tourism Development Centre “lighthouse” launches the eighth season

At the beginning of May, when the nature of the wake is waking, the “lighthouse” begins to roll and organize the fishermen. What does that mean? This means that the active summer season is coming fast. If the fishermen had a good Cope on the day, the next day, the cops would be twice as much. It feels that really everything – both nature and people become more active! And the job can start …
On May 27, 2011, the beacon opened its doors to the first visitors. This will be the 8 th season for the water tourism development centre “lighthouse”. On May 27, 2018, the opening velocity of the season “rolling in summer around Luban Lake” will take place. All active sports friends are allowed to log in! In the absence of their bicycle, the hire is “beacon”, 26663358 (number of bicycles limited).
It is still our goal to provide quality sports and active tourism services, promote the development of healthy, physically and mentally developed societies. We are very grateful to all those who have favoured our activities in the Beast. Also this year, the Centre's exhibition hall shows the works and souvenirs of Latgale.
We started to prepare for the season with Latvia's big talent. On April 28, we took the garbage along the coast of Luban Lake and on the beach. As it was mentioned at the beginning, the fishermen are the ones who “move” the seasonal “beacon”, but they are also followed by other water sports activities: the braces of wind boards, the supours, the kayaku rowers. This year, the following new inventory is available to us: ten SUPs (stand up Paddle Board) boards, ten two-seat cabins (peaks), ten bicycles and two electric tricycles for people with special needs. In order to fit the entire new inventory, a 2 nd floor in the inventory room was installed at the end of 2017. We'll try kayakos and bicycles in the 3 June competition “Lubana adventure 2018”, where competition distances will consist of three disciplines: 30 km bike, 20 km boats, 7 km run.
The “beacon” will always be an oar boat, from which the beautiful Luban Lake sunset is often tapped. The cabbages have been very popular with motorboat trips along Luban Lake, they will be all available for all this year. It is pleasant that the “beacon” is chosen both as a wedding ceremony and a wedding celebration. New accommodation services are coming to the hire of this room: the fire room (with the fireplace), which is designed for 4 persons and the new room next to the “beacon” main building, with 2 two-storey beds, can be slept for 4 people. This summer, there will be 14 beds together. If your circle of friends wants to stay out of the room, there is always room for a tent.
Everyone is welcome to spend an active holiday on water, a volleyball area, a tennis court, a boat, or a bicycle, enjoy sunrise and sunset on a beacon roof terrace. Our beach is waiting for you to start enjoying hot summer days! On a meeting in the Beast!
