Calls for the first Baltic – British Social Business Forum

On June 4, every lead and social entrepreneurs are invited to an unprecedented event - the international “Baltic - British Social Entrepreneurship Forum” dedicated to the topic OF cooperation. The establishment of partnerships in business is topical as new and small, so-called and large social enterprises, in order to promote their development on a broader scale, and especially at the moment when global pandemic prevents many companies from performing fully. The Forum will be a great opportunity to draw knowledge, experience and also practical skills in building cooperation.   

The event consists of three parts: forum, working groups and free atmosphere “home parties” at six Baltic social enterprises. In the first part of the 10:00 to 13:00 forum participants will have the opportunity to find out what business partnership trends in social entrepreneurship in Great Britain and elsewhere in the world are, as well as to hear the Baltic States ministries and association “pichus” about social entrepreneurship differences and partnership trends in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. In addition, five social enterprises – “Barboleta” from Latvia, “Pirmas blynas” from Lithuania, “Merkuur OÜ” from Estonia, “FRC Group” and “NOW Group” from Great Britain will be divided into their experiences on the importance and development of cooperation. Each company represents a different sector and operates different models of cooperation. Forum viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions of interest and share their opinions. 

In the second part of the forum from the 14:00 to 15:30 people have the opportunity to participate in one of the four working groups where expert management will be able to strengthen cooperation and communication skills. The working groups are devoted to four themes: successful and effective communication, the value offer of the social enterprise, a convincing presentation to the investor and the creation of long-term partnerships. Participation in working groups with prior login, the number of participants is limited. 

As it is known, the real business contacts are taking place in informal parts of events. This is why the Forum will conclude with online networking at “home parties” at six Baltic social enterprises. It will be an opportunity not only to know the Baltic social entrepreneurs, but also to establish business contacts. The informal part will take place at: 15:30 to 16:00. 

The Forum will be held online and in English and shall be free of charge.
