Moderator Ansis Bogustov talk to a doctor of Daugavpils Regional Hospital Joseph Korsau, Daugavpils University Science Prorector, Dr. biol., prof. Arvdu Barševski, a member of the Disaster Medical Centre, a member of the Latvian Red Cross Daugavpils Committee Marina Puchku, Rēzekne Hospital pneumonologist Konstantin Scherbacov and THE DNVOAC coordinator Oscar Zugicki.
This discussion is one of the activities of the information campaign to raise awareness among the population of Latgale about the spread of Covid-19 virus, the importance of vaccination for its limitation, calling for a call as experts in the healthcare sector and the active members of the local community. During the course of the discussion, the participants will share their experience with Covid-19 and during their prophylaxis, as well as daily working with patients who have become infected with Covid-19.
The discussion is organised with the project co-operation partners, as well as television LRT + and Rezekne Hospital.
As mentioned above, DNVOAC has signed a contract with the society integration fund for the project “Support FOR informing THE NGO of vaccination against Covid-19 in Latgale region.“In conjunction with the co-operation partners – the association“ Latvian Red Cross ”“ Daugavpils City Committee ”and the Rēzekne Disabled Society – it is planned to implement various initiatives until 29 December 2021. Joint forces in project activities are planned to involve all local governments in Latgale so that at least 1100 residents of the region receive individual consultations in both cities and parish territories regarding the importance of vaccination and the necessity thereof, in order to reduce the risk of being infected with Covid-19 and to protect themselves and their relatives.
The event is financially supported by the society integration fund from the State budget of Latvia.
