To be invited to participate in the support measure for Ukraine

Wednesday, March 2, at 18.00 An support event for Ukraine will be held in the Rēzekne Festival Park, in its struggle for the preservation of national independence.

The event will begin with the whole of Rēzekne's religious confessions on peace in the world. On the other hand, the city and municipality self-action collectively will send good thoughts and forces to the Ukrainian people with their songs. Citizens are invited to arrive with the flags of Ukraine or the symbolizing attribute of other peace.

As a result of the gathering of Ukrainian support, the people of Rezekne and the municipality will join the many thousands of residents of Latvia and other countries who have already agreed in similar support shares of Ukraine in recent days, condemning the invasion of Russia.

The event is organised by the municipality of Rēzekne and the municipality of Rezekne, referring to the invitation of the Latvian local government to agree with all municipalities in a simultaneous support settlement, expressing solidarity with Ukraine.
