Invited to participate in the photo plenary “summer rhythms in Rēzekne municipality”
The municipality of Rēzekne, in cooperation with the photographer of Latgale, organised a photo plenary session from 17 to 19 June, inviting professional photographers and photo enthusiasts from around Latvia. The photographer will be able to capture summer glorities, diversity, landscapes, events, rural works, and people in the Rēzekne District, in the parish of Kaunas, Chornajah Griškanan, Stalerova and Makoņkalns.
On 17 June, after settling in the camps in Kaunatas High School boarding, at 16.00 The opening of the event, the distribution of photographs by parish and familiarisation with guides – local residents who will show the most interesting places, history objects, Latgalian traditions, natural wealth and people during the plenary session. Also on Saturday, June 18, the photographer will have the opportunity to demonstrate their talent, skills and unusual vision, perpetuating the beauty of summer in the selected parish of Rezekne municipality.
On Friday and Saturday evening, a variety of lectures, presentations and discussions on the artistic art and technology are planned. Photographers who would like to show presentations or talk to colleagues reading lectures on various photo-related topics are invited to apply until 1 May at Igor Pliča (tel. 29121689, e-mail: lauraplus@inbox.lv). You can take different photos of your photo to an improvised exhibition.
Admission to the plenary session shall be made by 10 May at the time of sending APPLICATION QUESTIONNAIRE to e-mail lauraplus@inbox.lv or by telephone 29121689 (Igor Plich). Participation in the plenary session is free of charge. Accommodation and catering will be provided by the organisers at the photo plenary. The planned number of participants does not exceed 50 participants, so we call for the application not to be postponed.
In gratitude for admission, the photographer must be prepared for the Rēzekne municipality to provide photograph files taken during the plenary session (fully completed, processed photo images IN JPG format, preferably not less than 2.5 MB; number of photographs – optional). The local government will be entitled to use these photographs in non-commercial publications, websites and advertisements, indicating the author. The “fruits” of the plenary session will be seen in the exhibitions of each of the parish cultural houses involved, as well as in the building of the municipality of Rezekne in the city of Rezekne. The photos are intended to be printed in 30 x 45 cm. The opening of exhibitions, which will be held in the festival programme, will be invited by the members of the plenary. The local government and parish administration have provided gratitude for the authors of the best works, while photographers will have the opportunity to give photographs to the people they have photographed, thus strengthening the twinning and Latgalian traditions.
The plenary programme will be available on the homepage of the municipality of Rezekne, as well as on social networks.
The participation of a participant in a plenary session shall be deemed to be the consent of the above-published conditions.
