We are invited to participate in the photo contest “My Upper Faugava”!

The Nature Protection Board organizes the photo contest “My Upper Faugava” for all stakeholders who have managed to capture beautiful or interesting photomirms in the area of protected landscapes “Augšdaugava” – Daugava valley between Daugavpils, Kraslava and Piedruja. If you want to participate in the competition, find your most beautiful “Upper Faugava” photograph showing landscapes, plants, animals, various objects of natural or cultural history, ancient places, or, in the autumn nature of the most colourful views! We also look forward to photographs taken in the neighbouring Belarus border.
A travelling photograph exhibition will be created from the best works submitted in the competition (indicating their authors), which in the project “cross-border nature” will tell and reflect the landscape, natural and cultural historical values of specially protected natural areas in the border of Latvia and Belarus.

The participants in the competition are asked to submit their works by 13 October 2014, sending them to e-mail irena.muskare@daba.gov.lv
