Activities during Easter Stage
In the first Easter, 9 April, the Sherjan Easter, with his good assistants, the youth centre “Kukuji”, the Shergian Mommy Club, the face-painting Ligita, created a fun and attractive festive sound, both for small and large, involving a variety of creative and interesting activities – the search for hare-hidden delicacy, the decoration of biscuits, the creation of Easter “paintings”, the ripening of eggs, the stapets, the toddles, the drawing on the asphalt. In the festive culmination, swaying with the Great Hare.
On the third Easter, April 11, the Russian song of the Russian song “Raduga” of the Strūžānu Cultural House was visited by the “Shergani” and “Pilcene” departments of the social care centre of Rezekne, delighting the living songs and games in the homes, and introducing Easter traditions and beliefs. There was also a more vigorous dance step, a prize for activity and a delicious pie.
The day later, on April 12, the children and teachers of the New Jerusalem primary school, together with the Great Hare, were shaken with songs, toys, poems and beliefs with the old people living in the Syrgans. The great-habit of all – old and young, small and large, “scrubbed” with a scalded birch jagar, cool legs, flexible backs and happy mind!
