Supported “Razna plus” LEADER project

Kaunatas parish people's house dance collector “rasa” and its leader alla Silov are pleased with the support of the project submitted by Razna plus! Specifically for this collection, in preparation for the general song and dance festival and the centenary of Latvia, the realization of the project on the acquisition of new clothes is a big and expected event.
A decision of the Rural Support Service of 2 February 2018 has been received regarding project No. 17-01-AL15-a019 .2202-000042 “Conservation of intangible cultural heritage: acquisition OF Abrenes People's suits Kaunatas for the collection of the youth dance collection“ rasa ””. The date of implementation of the project is 1 February 2019.
The eligible costs of the project are EUR 4995,00, of which the public FUNDING OF 90% consists of co-financing of EUR 4495,50 and Kaunatas parish 10% – EUR 499,50.
The aim of the project is to strengthen the concept of authentic North Latgale Abrenes's suits, the cultural and traditions of its wedding, to promote the preservation and development of intangible heritage in its parish, municipality and Latvia. It is Abrenes's national costume that associates with a youth suit, a bride dress, and is constantly used in dance behavior as a visual image with a deep Living philosophical basis.
Kaunatas TN youth dance collective “rasa” is intended to purchase authentic parts of 9 men and 9 women in the Abrenes People's Chat (brunches, blouses, jackets, coats, trousers) typical of North Latgale.
