At the end of May, three days in the Rēzekne municipality, Nautrēnu, Ilzeskalna, Lendžu and Bērzgales parish took place in a unique photovoltaic event for the honorary photograph piano, the photographer of Rezekne, Jānis Gleizdam. Around sixty photographers from around Latvia, it was a great opportunity to demonstrate their talent by perpetuating local people, buildings, Latgalian traditions, natural wealth and events. At the end of the photograph, more than 6200 photographs have been taken, from which the best of 12 September can be seen at exhibitions Nautrēnu, Ilzeskalna, Bērzgales and Lendžu in the cultural house, as well as in the municipality of Rezekne municipality in Rezekne. A large crowd of photographer and the population took part in the discovery of exhibitions, as the photographer can see both the parish nature and the portraits of local people. Each parish could only select 30 photos at this time, however, as the parish leaders acknowledged, they would not be the last exhibition, as the range of photographs is rich.
The photographer of the photographer is a photographer of Latgale, under the direction of Igor Pliča and the municipality of Rezekne. As Igor Plich acknowledged, it is a unique phenomenon that photographs are opened at the same time. The municipality of Rezekne received a gift – the photograph of Inga Ivanova from THE parish OF Ozolmuižas, but the largest gift is the works of the photomartists. On the other hand, Inara Pleikšne and parish managers of the municipality of Rezekne welcomed all the photoms and gave memorial awards to those whose works were most liked. There were both Mrs. Vladislav and Solvita Batagar and Veronica Simoņenkova and Peter Korsak, Laura and Igor Plichi. Inese Grizane and many others.
The wide-ranging event cycle ended with the opening of the memorial site at Jānis Gleizda's home in place OF Ilzeskalna parish in Vecgailumi. In the memorial stone, the author of which is Andris Missan, the words that Annele Gleizda said about his spouse, “a man can do much if there is a strong will and a great sea”. Jānis Gleizds (1924 –2010) is one of the most famous Latvian photographer who spent most of his life. In 1948, at the age of 24, after the accident, he was amputated by both hands, but as the harsh fate, John Glaisd was able to preserve his life, take photographs, and become a legend of this field, creating photographs that were still showing the spectators with his delicacy and poetry. The memorial stone was consecrated BY Nautrēnu Roman Catholic parish parish lawyer Kravalis.
John Glazda's father, Anton Gleizda, in the shadows of the plank, next to the renewed crucifix (author Arnis Zachester), with THE efforts of THE Ilzeskalna parish people, made a wonderful memorial place to stop passers from stopping and thinking about the tough, talent and strength of Latgale people.
As told by Ilzeskalns parish management manager Genoveff Gailums, the memorial stone design, inspired by Jānis Gleizda's works, was created by Andris Missāns, while the stone Arthur Zealand from SIA “Dzirkal-Z” was born in the stone. The placement of commemoration costs approximately EUR 4000, including 1000 EUR for the production of the memorial mark from Latgale programme, while the rest of the financing is provided by the municipality of Ilzeskalna parish and the municipality of Rezekne.
The municipality of Rezekne and the photographer of Latgale hope that the photographer implemented this year will be the beginning of a new tradition. It is planned that next year the photographer could meet in the south side of Rezekne's municipality to capture the Latgale Sea – Razna Lake, the Jewish Style pearl Lūznavas Manor, the Arts mountain, the large flame mountain, as well as the other people of Rezekne and the natural wealth created by Rēzekne.
