Audriņu primary school students – the most chartered masters in Latvia

Closing season of the “green belt” production competition for “clean Latvia” 2020./2021. In spite of the distance learning and other restrictions on which the collection of physical scrap was encumbered, 349 educational institutions took part in the competition, transferring 587,972 tonnes of maculatics. 53 educational institutions were represented in the Latgale region competition, bringing 102.896 tons of maculatics to processing. Audriņu primary school students won 1 st place at national level after the volume of the collected maculation per institution pupil, each collecting an average of 198,41 kg of maculatics. The pupils of the city of Ludza acquired 3 rd place at national level, collecting 16,086 tons of maculatics.

The “clean-up” competition for “clean Latvia” is organised for the 17 th year, becoming a significant environmental project in the families of thousands of Latvian children. “The desire to take care of the environment is felt in both educational institutions and hundreds of families throughout Latvia. Although this school year has introduced a number of corrections and challenges, the“ green belt ”is genuinely pleased with the results achieved. Thanks to the active participation of educational institutions, more than 87 thousand children and young people have been used in parallel to the learning process to contribute to the processing of unnecessary paper and cartons in Latvia,“ emphasizes the “green belt” representative Laima Kublina.

The most active educational institution in Latgale region is the city of Ludza City that year, whose students, collecting 16.086 tons of maculatics, have acquired 1 st place in Latgale. In addition, the students of the city of Ludza won 3 rd place at national level according to the most collected quantity of maculature. In Latgale region, THERE was also a Audriņu primary school, collecting 9.946 tons of maculatics, as well as Varkava High School, which was transported to 6.492 tons of maculatics for processing.

In this school year, the most important achievements of the Latgale region in the collection of maculatics are the city and municipality of Rezekne. With the participation of 11 educational institutions, 34,411 tons of sculptures have been removed from Rezekne. The most active sculptors in Rezekne municipality this year learn Audriņu at primary school (9.946 tons of maculatics, which are approximately 3 times more than last year), Rezekne Technical School (collected 4.1 tons of maculatics), Sakstagala Jānis KCo at elementary school (collected 3.2 tons of maculatics), Rezekne State Pole Gymnasium (collected 2.85 tons of maculatics) and Rezekne at the 4 th Secondary School (collected 2.75 tons of maculatics).

In Daugavpils City and District competition “clean Latvia” was represented by 21 educational institutions, which were transferred to 27,389 tons of maculatics for processing. The most active school institutions are Daugavpils Harmony Primary School, whose students transferred 3.75 tons of maculatics for processing, the construction technique OF Daugavpils IN IP IV “feminine”, whose students have collected 2.7 tons of maculatics, and Daugavpils 12 th secondary school, whose pupils collected 2.25 tons of maculatics for recycling.

The city of Ludza was represented by 3 educational institutions that year by collecting 19,386 tons of unnecessary paper. The most active municipality schools this year is the Honorary School of Ludza City, whose students have collected 16,086 tons of maculatics, as well as the 2 nd secondary school of Ludza, which was transferred to 2,2 tons of maculatics for processing.

This year, special achievements both in Latgale region and at national level are GENERALLY Audriņu for the primary school. These students have been the most chartered maculator collectors throughout Latvia, with 31,53 kg of maculatics per average during the school year. It ranked THE elementary school OF Audriņu not only in the leading positions in Latgale, but also allowed the honorary 1 st place to be held at the level of Latvia after the amount of the collected maculation per one school pupil.

The winners of the competition prizes will receive excellent prizes from the competition organizer “green belt” and great friends “Latvian State Forests”, SIA “Urban Services”, “Rural Environment” PS.
