BALTICA 2022 already tonight. Certain results of the view. 

The international folklore festival “Baltica 2022” will be held in Latvia from 6 to 10 July. The festival concerts will be held in Riga, Sigulda, Turaida, Kuldīga and elsewhere in Latvia, while the big final concert will be announced on July 10 in Talsi. As the festival tradition continues, there will be a common theme. “Baltica 2022” is a “game”. 

The festival is held from 1987 in one of the Baltic States, in partnership with state and local government institutions, as well as non-governmental organisations. In Latvia it will take place for the 12 th time and gather ethnographic ensembles, folklore and folklore dance sets, People's Musicans, applied art masters, craftsmen and stories, as well as living cultural heritage collectors from the Baltic States. It is recalled that “Baltica 2015” was held in Rēzekne and Rezekne District in 2015.

In preparation for this summer festival, the evaluation of folklore sets, ethnographic ensembles and individual performers took place. Collectively, the performance of which according to the grade of the jury corresponds to Grade I, as well as part II collective according to the intention of the director, is invited to participate in the events of the folklore festival “Baltica 2022”.
