White unit day in Klaipeda

The September of the year has been marked by a special event - since 2000 in Latvia and Lithuania with various memorial and cultural events on 22 September celebrating a white unit day. On this day, a fire-white spiritual unity certification and anchorage are burned in the castle and other higher places in Latvia and Lithuania. The roots of white uniformity were to be found seven hundred years ago, when the two peoples succeeded in joining the swordbrothers in the solar battle.
In Klaipeda, the tradition of “white musty” and “rest” of the Latvian association “holiday” and Latvian cultural days have become a tradition. For the twelfth time, the Latvian association “recreational”, which is working on the long-term traditional programme “Lithuania and Latvia – total roots”, was welcomed by the festival museum in Klaipeda on 24 September. The invitation to live together with beautiful and unifying self-confidence and national identity festivals had been covered by various genre collections from Lithuania and Latvia. The performances of the concert were in Latvian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian and Latgalian languages. The presence of each performance was enthusiastically enthusiastically enthusiastic, with the sound of the guns, which was taken care of by the medieval ethnographic set of Piltenes parish (Latvia).
The Etnographic ensemble “Rikava” was invited to represent his municipality in these festivals. The audience listened carefully to the Latgalian language, swaying with songs and warm applause, thanking us for the performance.
