THE beginning of THE Bērzgales folklore set was already beginning in the far-reaching 1956-1957, when a large folklore scientific research expedition was held in Latgale under the direction of Harry moss. Then THERE was a Bērzgales song and dance ensemble and a field chapel of the People's Musicans.
Since then, with little breaks, the children of the children have come together, singing not only in the festival, but also in wedding, funeral, other cows. The operation of the folklore cluster started in 1885. The composition of the folklore set was variable, but its manager remained unchanged from 1958 until July 2004 - Bernadette Opincane. After her departure in September 2004, the leader of the folklore set was taken over by Bernadette's schoolgirl Anna Adijane.
The healed roads were not only through Latgale, neighborhoods, but also in other parts of Latvia and abroad. IN the summer of 1991, THE 1 TP36T folklore set, in collaboration with Janina bush, visited Sweden.
Thanks to the folklore tree, the children of the children have had the opportunity to hear and see the singers and dancers from other parish, Latvian municipality and even abroad, from Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Lithuania.
The folklore set regularly participates in views and other activities of the Latvian National Cultural Centre.
The cluster operates with permanent support from the Rēzekne District Council and Bērzgales parish administration.
Only with the heart of the children of the children, the great love of their people, its traditions, the love of the people's song set has been able to work until today. The older yearsmen come to sing, talk, remember their youth, rest their hearts and hands from their everyday jobs and rūpestiem, gain spiritual strength and strength to live. The youngest wives come because they love a song, come and stay, “get sick” with the energy and love that the power of the peoples and the feeling of husbandry.
