THE association “LOBS” concludes the EU fund youth initiative project
The “LOBS” association concludes a second project of the European Social Fund project 8.3.4.0/16/I/001 “Support for the reduction of early school leaving” (budpurs), the “organisation of technical video activities for young people in Rezekne”. It aims to organise video activities for young people in Rezekne, involving early school leavers (hereinafter - PMP) in non-formal education, thus motivating further education and promoting their active participation in daily life. In the framework of the project, practical video activities were organised for young people living in Rezekne District, aged 5 to 12, who have an opportunity to attend Maltas and Ozolmuižas children and youth centres. The video sessions were organized over the period from September 1 to November 30. During the project, young people met the technical equipment of the video, worked with it in practice and implemented the video project itself. In addition to the video activities with lesson manager Janis Jurchenko, young people also learned how to pursue skills, critical thinking skills and skills. In addition to video games, young people were also organized by the workshops in which they had the opportunity to make creative expressions in colours and designs when printing their T-shirts.
In each youth centre, the participants created their own video project, which was presented in the video competition announced by the educational administration of Rezekne “with pride in Rezekne municipality …”. AT Maltas, the participants of the video activities of the children and youth centre won 2 nd place.
In addition to these videos, Maltas BJC members were interested in creating their own animation, which they believed reflected the achievement of the goals. Animation viewable in https://www.facebook.com/lobsbiedriba/videos/542797699863792/
