Bicycles purchased within THE FRAMEWORK OF THE Čornajas parish youth project

Kaunatas parish council Čornajas parish youth centre “HORIZON” carried out the “sustainable mobility” project financed by the municipality of Rēzekne municipality and THE “sustainable mobility” project co-financed by Čornajas parish council, in which three mountain bicycles were purchased.

For the project acquisition object for young people, the head was not supposed to be broken because it was clear that bicycles were needed. In the last year's draft initiative “Study of Čornajas parish history”, it was revealed that young people would be happy to spend their free time travelling and studying their own parish and introducing their values. At the time of the project, the participants had a problem that all the wanders could not participate in the trips because the bicycle was missing.

As a result of the project, the young people will be able to spend both daily and trips with three new mountain bikes. When travelling in such an environmentally friendly way, young people will be aware of the importance of sustainable mobility, improve their physical preparedness and focus on healthy lifestyles.
