Discovery of the poetry almanac “Rezekne-2012”

On September 14, an opening festival was held at the Rēzekne Municipal Conference hall for the 15 th annual poetry almanaham “Rezekne-2012”. The stockholder, the poet Olga Afanasyeva, told us that this year the almanac was devoted to our precious and wonderful Latgale, not only because the third world of Latgalians and 20 were held this summer. The anniversary of Latgale Mar, but all the more so because we, the Latgalians, love our homeland and want to devote hearty words to it.

The literary artistic almanac brings together almost 60 Latvian, Latgalian and Russian poets, most of which are accompanied by a number of almanac author lines. The poets acknowledged that it was important for them to write about their native Latgale, as they could bring their name in the world, highlighting the best thing we had – the beautiful nature, the thick and singing families, the ceramics, the renovated cities, and the villages. The poets of Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian poets are also published in the almanac of poetry.

The permanent supporters of the almanac are the Rēzekne municipality council, the city council of Rezekne and the Rēzekne bus park. As usual, the almanac will not be sold, but it will be received as a gift by the county and city schools, libraries, stockholders and authors.
