“European autumn bird watching days 2019” in Luban wetlands

During the spring of the migratory birds to the warm lands, the Luban Wetlands Information Centre has taken two measures within the framework of the “European autumn bird observation day 2019”. This year, on October 5, a “duck cage workshop” will be held at the Luban Wetlands Information Centre. Duration of the event: at 11.00 - 13.00.
The duck cages produced during the event in winter (when the water is covered in ice) are intended to be placed in Cavana and Iceland's fish ponds to improve the success of the duck nesting.
You have to take your hammer with you.
After the cages are prepared, a bird-watching walk will be held at Luban wetlands in the information centre or in the fish ponds of Iceland (in good weather) or a bird quiz about migration indoors if time is not appropriate for outdoor activities.
On October 6, we'll repeat the so-called “drunken morning in Teich swamp”, followed by a small bird-watching trip. A trip with a microbus, therefore a compulsory pre-registration measure!
Plumping. 05.30 gathering in Madona, in the square. Estimated duration of the event: 5 hours. We'll be waiting for the daylight near the Tych swamp, from which every morning the drunken, geese, ducks, and yellow worms are eaten.
After watching the birds, a small trip along Murmasten or Barkava - Bozens' countryside will follow.
A weather-friendly clothing is necessary - remember that the morning is cool and the thermometer column approached zero! The wool stockings and the thermos with warm drinks, after last year's experience, were useful. If anyone watching a bird has his own binoculars and a flashlight, take it safely.
A bird recognizer Rudolf Krolics will be guided by the drunken morning in the Tychelles swamp and the bird-watching excursion.
