Festival LAMP will operate #Introducer

24.06.2019

Projects

On 28 and 29 June, a conversation festival LAMP will be held for the fifth time in the Cēsis Palace Park. It will also be able to visit the European tent or #Introducer - space for discussion and the exchange of thoughts on security issues in Latvia, Europe and the world. Both big and small festival visitors will be able to explore safety issues in the course of both festivals.
The concept of security today affects every area of life or industry. Safe behaviour and action have become one of the main challenges both at the individual and at the public level. In discussions with experts, Zatlers, Ieva Moricu, Marta Ribel, Andris Kužnieks, Innu Šinbuku, Andris Sprodu, Zanda Kalniņa-Lukaševica, Ivetu fur, Lolita gypsies and others will look at various aspects of security and our attitudes to security issues ranging from domestic and geopolitical space.
Encourage yourself and others – join the game
Every day of the festival in #Introducer, everyone will be able to check their knowledge and erudition in the game. With the help of #Iedro shuttle talismans – the Diversity of the Diagram – to combat the various kinds of pests in the field of security, many security issues will become even more familiar, while others will be completely re-acquainted. The participants in the game will literally help the Diagram drive to do their job to create a safer environment.
Interactive stand with professional stories
Similarly, #Introducer invites people who carry out their duties on a daily basis and care for life to be safer for each of us – firefighters, safer internet specialists, trafficking in human beings, consumer rights defenders and others. The experience of these professionals is collected in the form of interactive stories and helps to better understand topics such as: food and product safety, cyber security, prevention and prevention of diseases, safety of travellers, security in the event of natural disasters and other security areas which have the core of a particular person's day-to-day work. Each of the stories also shows that we do not live in isolation and European countries and different institutions cooperate with each other every day.
