Fish juveniles placed in the lakes and in the Park Lake

Kaunatas parish administration submitted to the Council of the fish stock the project “Propagation of fish resources in Idzepoles and Partava lakes”. The draft decision of the Council of the Fish Fund was supported in March. The purpose of the project was to purchase the juveniles of the zandarta and to put Idzepoles and the Parks into the lake to increase the fish stocks. In order to effectively use Idzepoles and Pārtavas lakes for the organisation of rational industrial fishing and fishing (including licensed), it would be desirable for the operator or lessee of the lake of the plan to carry out at least once every three years the harvesting of fish. This is why this is the second time that the juveniles are placed in both lakes.

Given that the feed base in lakes is rich in the regular release of juveniles, the catch could be significantly increased. In the framework of this project, they were purchased and placed in the Idzepoles lake 4800-one-year-old soldiers in weight up to five grams and in the Park Lake 8300 zandart juveniles up to 5 grams.

The total amount of the project budget is eur 3360.70 with VAT, of which 202.00 euro was THE co-financing of THE parish administration of Kaunatas and 202.00 euro was co-financing of the Razna National Park Society. The project was implemented in October. SIA “ores fish farm” was supplied by zandarta juveniles.
