Consecrated cross Pušas in village
One of the most beautiful Catolic traditions of May is the May singing. The month of May is devoted to God's honour, people gather at crucifixes, which are on their knees, cemeteries, houses, or church gardens, to sing songs to the honour of God, to count the rosary, to sing a lithium for the young Mary, to pray for the blessing of God and God, to gain a spiritual anchorage.
On 1 May AT Pušas in the village at Anton Castle's home, a renovated cross was wound. Jānis Voverovs was born in Pušas.
For the first time, at the end of 1970, Anton's father, Adam's cabbage, was installed at his home. As the cross was from wood, it had fallen after 20 years and was restored by son Anton in 1990. This was his time, and Anton's cabbage and his spouse, Valentine Rakvich, decided to rebuild it. In order for the cross to serve long and bring more generations to the prayer of May, this time the cross is made of metal.
Anton's sisters, Monika, Maria, Helen, Bronislava, and their children, took part in the winding. The songs sang and prayed – Anne, Valeria, Rasma, Indra. The housekeepers had smoked a delicious respect for all the present.
With the revival of the renovated cross at Anton's home, the annual traditional prayers and singing of the traditional May of May, devoted to God's honour, began in THE village of Anton.
