Implemented project “Dear joy in Gaigalava!”
Implementation of the project “Dear joy in Gaigalava” supported under the Rēzekne District Community Partnership LAD LEADER programme (No 17-01-AL15-a019 .2202-000056).
The aim of the project is to promote the increase in visual quality of cultural activities and to promote the personal involvement of the population in the course of the cultural event.
A new South_Latgale suite of 18 dance collective participants, consisting of the People's suite boys (9 pcs), a shirt, vest, trousers, stockings, neckline handkerchiefs (9 pcs), a shirt, vest, armor, root, half-long stockings and a suite of the People's suits, consisting of nine boys and nine girls' shoes and 18 poster pairs, was purchased from the project funding.
In the 2018-2019 school year, 18 pupils dance in dance. The quality of the cultural event depends not only on the well-prepared performance, i.e. technically well-executed dances, but also on the visual appearance of the performances, i.e. the outfit is served. The new suits will enjoy the viewers and motivate students to learn the cultural culture of the Latvian People's dance, traditions and people's outfit, thereby participating in the preservation and development of the local cultural heritage.
In the Rēzekne municipality, two dance collectors are active in the elementary school of Gaigalavas - both classes 1-4 and the 5 th-9 th class dance collective, which shows that love for culture and dance in children are created throughout his period of schooling.
The total cost of the project is EUR 3983,89. Of which 3585,50 EUR — EAFRD public funding and 398,39 EURO - Gaigalavas parish management funding.
