Education centres in the regions of Latvia are invited to familiarise themselves with spring developments

At a time when nature wakes up to show itself in diversity and diversity, the Nature Protection Board calls for every spring of nature to be acquainted with the education centres set up in specially protected areas of Latvia. Creative, knowledgeable and interactive indoors or outdoors will be a good way to spend time and get useful knowledge.
LATGALE REGION
The Nature Education Centre “Razna” is located in THE MUNICIPALITY of Rēzekne IN THE municipality of Razna Lake, Razna National Park. There is a permanent exhibition of Razna National Park's natural wealth. In the past, the opportunity to operate in creative and interactive activities on specially protected areas of nature in Latvia, to know the lake and its coastal residents, to familiarise the slopes and grave forests. A few kilometres away is Mākoņkalns with Volkenberg Castle ruins and a trail. The spring events can be seen in both the Cloud and the stone trail, which is located in New Zealand less than 3 km from the Lipuški.
By May 15, a photograph of the retired teacher Nikolaja Gorkin (Awards) is at the centre of nature education. This spring, the Centre for Nature Education will also organise events dedicated to the day of European nature and national parks. On 24 May, the day of the open door will be open, but a day of biodiversity in Razna National Park will take place on 22 May.
VIDZEME REGION
The Vidzeme region consists of three natural education centres established by the Nature Protection Administration.
The Nature Education Centre “hills” is located in the territory of the Gauja National Park in Līgatne Nature Trails, Līgatne municipality. Due to its location, the centre will introduce the Latvian fauna. The activities of the natural knowledge take place in both indoor and outdoor nature. They use equipment, worksheets, playing various environmental consciousness games to explore and study nature. As a result of the visit, an interactive exhibition “skis” on forest animals and their habits can be viewed at the centre of nature education. In mid-May, the centre will exhibit another interactive exhibition “deeper in the forest” on protected habitats of European significance – slopes – broad-leaved forests and boreal forests that come out of Latvia's natural museum.
The Nature Education Centre “Vecupīte” is located at the northern end of the Gauja National Park, the Kozyn District in the ancient forest house, and offers visitors to explore the natural diversity of the special area of conservation. It is possible to see an exhibition on forest and biodiversity, participate in natural research activities, play environmental games, organize seminars and lectures. Literature and various materials on nature as well as worksheets and educational programmes on natural topics are also available. A 2.8 km long natural trail, showing various ecosystems, begins in the vicinity of “elders”. If you go for a walk, you can see many of the tree species in Latvia, the Gauja and its coastal forest types, animals or at least the traces of their activity. The stalls located at the trail help to learn more about natural values in this area.
The Nature Education Centre “Northern vidzeme” is located in the territory of the Northwest biosphere reserve and its activities are designed to explore coastal nature at different seasons. In view of the location of the centre, it also provides extensive information on the Northwest biosphere reserve. In order to better understand the interaction of the environment and human activity, stakeholders of any age, in interactive activities, play a variety of environmental games, can familiarise themselves with the special areas of conservation of Latvia (SPT), the Baltic Sea and the fish surrounding it, the diversity of coastal nature - bird species, algae, bivalve molluscs, trees growing in the dungeon, search for animal traces in nature, determine the quality of air and water, take a forefoot route. There is an area of 1.2 km long grassland, where it is possible to explore the growing plants and birds in the area, as it is winding through the blacksmith and meadows.
PIERRA REGION
The Nature Education Centre “forest house” is located in the River Cemeri National Park, which is surrounded by the wet forests. School students have a nature school in nature. Children, using a variety of research tools, can familiarise themselves with marshes, forests, sea beasts and the mysterious world of water. The activities also include interactive exhibitions “see what others don't see!” “visit”. In the vicinity of the forest house, a “forest circle” of 0.7 km is beginning, showing a natural forest. A pleasant walk will also be the historians of history, introducing the historic centre of Ķemeri resort. The Nature Education Centre “forest house” also organizes a variety of environmental awareness activities – on 9 May, everyone is invited to enter the “forest house” within the course of the travellers' day, while on 23 May the centre will be open to open doors for the day of Europe's natural and national parks and biodiversity.
