The new vocalist and authors competition “Nudreb heart” will not be expected this year, waiting for a meeting on the spot!
Two years ago, we organized Aija Eriņa's memorial competition for young soldiers and the songs of the songs “Nudreb heart.” The number of participants was sufficient, so competition in all three age groups was also recognised. There was a decision to gather such singers every two years in May. In December, in January, we thought of a reduction in the volume of the pandemic. From week to week, we postponed the publication of the information and the call for applications. We hoped, maybe, but …. No, the situation in the country did not improve. There can be no speech about it together. The event is unfortunately not going to happen in May.
There was still a chance for a remote competition: by sending records by using online. But it is not the main task of the competition: to determine the best. The main – the trembling of the small hearth and the gathering in front of the public and the jury, together with children's parents, educators who were preparing for the new talent to come to the stage. Therefore, we rejected the remote format. We'll wait for the mask to gather in concerts, look, big festivals. Let's wait and prepare – it will always be useful in life.
