Applicants for the “Rēzeknes” competition in the nomination “annual agricultural company”

On March 19, 2020, the highest entrepreneurs of the 2019 Rēzekne municipality – the power and pride – will be honoured for the eighth time.
Winners in the competition “Rezekne Municipality 2019” will be announced only in the celebration event that will be held in THE cultural and sports hall OF Nautrēnu this year, but we are already starting to introduce the applicants. This time, they are applicants that have been nominated in the nomination “annual agricultural enterprise”.
Performer of economic activity - Self-employed person Dainis Gudriks

Dainis Gudriks, on his farm in Rezekne municipality, conducts THE production of organic crop products IN Lendžu parish, cultivates cereals and legumes (rye, wheat, oats, rape, peas). Manages around 200 ha of agricultural land, 30 ha of which are occupied by grassland (clover for seed). As a result of the modernisation project of the farm, agricultural machinery, excavators, built-in two machinery sites, bought-in drying have been purchased. In the past year, by attracting EU funds, a comb Ferguson has been bought, a modern trailer, a grain cleaner.
The fields are not fertilised with mineral fertilizers and are not treated with chemicals, plant secretion has been introduced. Dainis Gudrik has purchased two excavators, with which he carries out the draining of melioration ditches himself. The wooded agricultural land is harvested – the crop is harvested, the strains are removed.
The farm has attracted large-scale investments over its lifetime, more than EUR 200 000, and continues to do so. The acquired modern technique creates a safe working environment, but the built-up large houses, which are also premises for cleaning and partial storage of grain grain, provide comfortable working conditions, enable machinery, equipment and products to be stored safely and thoughtfully.
As a result of organic farming, an environmentally friendly agricultural production process is ensured: environmental pollution with harmful substances does not occur. Organic production is produced in the holding.
Farm farm “Solated Bay”, Valdis Zvejsalnieks

The farm “Solated Gulf” IN Nagļu parish with arable crops (cereals, summer rape and beans) has been active since 1992. At present, the agricultural land managed by the holding grew to 200 ha, which clearly leads to investment and modernisation of machinery parks. In 2019, a project “investments in tangible assets” was implemented in cooperation with rural support services - purchased grain harvesting comb Vector 425 and tractor Case Puma 150. As far as possible, the economy increases the efficiency of production, the volume and quality of the products produced and the safety of the work environment. The company's interests are represented BY “Latraps”.
Farmers' farm “birds” (owner Dairis Decrsnis)

The farm “birds” (owner Dairis Decrsnis) is located AT Gaigalavas parish in Sherjans. Farm farming is engaged in the cultivation of cereals. In recent years, the farm has developed rapidly, a modernised production base, a new design, a fog, a grain-dried, built-in grain barn. Agricultural land is expanded by approximately 100 ha per year. The farm does not only produce crops of different sortium but also provides transport and universal excavator services.
Farm “liepziedi” (owner) Janis Arbidan

Jānis Arbidan Farmers' farm “castle flowers” was established in 2012 with a few tens of hectares of land. 1326 hectares of agricultural land are currently being processed. The farm is specialised in cereals. The production is sold to Scandagra Latvia. The company operates as a farm farm. Another specialisation sector of Jānis Arbidan is livestock farming. Beef cattle are grown. Forestry is also a sector of the specialisation of the farm. The turnover from agricultural production amounts to EUR 595000, from the rest of EUR 517000.
13 people are employed in the farm “carnivores”. All employees are local residents, including young people who see a real opportunity to work and earn. The activities of the company are based on a meaningful, systematic, motivated and development-driven work.
In order to develop entrepreneurship, a production base – modern machinery and equipment – is fully provided on the farm. This gives an incentive to the employees of the company to work responsibly and financially. With pride, they tell the story of the success and the work they have done. In order to increase the efficiency of production, a grain of grain has been built, a technical area, built-in repair shops. The development of “flames” was facilitated by participation in six EU projects. Implementation OF THE EAFRD project “Support for young farmers”, three modernisation projects and two LEADER projects. The safety of the work environment is respected. For example, special clothing and footwear are purchased for employees in the logging sector.
In view of the large amount of work, the working environment, the production areas and the area are cleaned and well-equipped.
