Charity stock “book continues its way” IN Audriņu civil parish
For several years, THE Audriņu parish library organizes a charitable stock in which all parish residents are offered the opportunity to release their own, already read books. In October last year, a traditional promotion called “the book continues its way!”. The choice of this autumn month for the beginning of each year is not random – on October 1, the entire world is celebrating international seniors.
The show ran for almost four months and during its time in the library a large range of books have been accumulated, which will continue their way to the next readers – the homes of the old people.
Today, the issue of resource saving has become topical. Very wasteful to throw in the maculature, mustache, or use the read-only book that has been preserved in the stove.
