The Latgalian Reaga is driving! We invite you to meet at the Latvian Etnography Museum

On 26 September 2021, from 10.00 to 17.00 Latvian Etnography Museum Latgale Planning Region, in cooperation with the association “Latgale thematic villages”, will present visitors with the Latgalian travel market, which will take place in the framework OF the Latvian-Russian cross-border cooperation programme 2014-2020 in the framework OF project LV-RU-018 “non-border crafts”.
The Latgalian Reaga is driving! it will be possible to meet with local craftsmen, young artists and masters of the various craftsmen, to buy beautiful and delicious gifts, souvenirs, clean ceramics and Nuclear products, various types of textiles, including children's clothing, design leather bags and pastures, jewellery, glass products, and more. With the help of the video stories, the work of co-operation partners of the project “crafts without borders” will be presented - the works of the artisans of Pleskava district.
This year, the work and visitors of both new masters and recognizable artists will be welcomed and visitors: high-quality design children's clothing from Bencha Muude, modern and bright design leather bags from Zelma Kraft, wood kitchen boards, trays and other articles, of a size of different sizes and with burnt beads, of SIA “Eko Pinus”. Sophisticated, non-reproducible, self-propelled glass pearls or rendered glass decorator from the artist Inga Salemasas well as the unique big soft toy and textile souvenirs from Tatjana Sorocina.
In turn, amateurs from “Dubna” once again with coloured woven rugs (Long Driksne), needles and painted silk beams (Aida Rotchenkova) and SIA “Crystal shoes” you will offer different types of skin and colours from the belts to the dance of the peoples.
There will be a wide range of ceramic articles, from which both traditional and modern-day performances of Nellia Dzalba, Olga Paulina, libello Lochmeles, or Agnes Chakh will be selected.
EVERY “LARI D” in Ludmila Morozova's leather jewellery with stones and Liene Breavers will enjoy a variety of pearls of pearls.
Whatever the weather is waiting for us, Latgolys Gold i'll wait for anyone to honor a satile snack. Rural benefits from Latgale thematic villages will be available for all tastes – scented coarse bread, domestic cheese, smoked meat, domestic sausages and fat, real rural barley, honey and more.
