Latvian radio will organise festival events in Rezekne on 3 and 4 May

By celebrating the 25 th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Latvia on 4 May, Latvian radio with special festive events will go to the listeners in Latgale. In the course of two days from the Rēzekne Festival Park hosts, the city guests and listeners throughout Latvia will be offered broadcasts and interviews with known personalities, the opportunity to express themselves in the free microphone, as well as concerts with Aminata Saadgo, Christapa Rasima, folklorist Iveta and Vidvuda Medanes, the group “galaxies”, “tombs” and “Bermuda Divangis”.
On May 3, the festival programme pl .15 .05 will open the Latvian Radio 1 (LR1) informative analytical programme “afternoon” with youth-based Latvian radio 5 – Pieci.lv (Pieci.lv) programme “Domestic”. In the course of an hour, there will be meetings with Latgalians, who were at the highest Council at the time when the Latvian Declaration of Independence was signed, and we will also meet the popular Latgale group “galaktika”. The programme will be directed by Talis Eupurs, Arta Skuja and Daira Kokarevich.
According to the news pl .16 .00, the work will be started by Ansis Bogustov with the broadcasts “21 st century Latvians”, in which we will talk about Latgale flag, Latgale identity and contact Latvian Latvians. While pl .17 .05 “family studio”, together with Agnes linku and Myirita Znotins, will be familiar with traditional Latgale food.
Pl .18 .15 in the programme for Latgale “Colnasate” with Aigar Speakers and Justini Savitsku discuss what is a good Latgalian, and listen to Latgale cultural prize “Boņuks” in the group “tombs”. The music project approved for the best Latgale alternative music group in 2014 will provide a concert at the Rēzekne Festival Park on the big stage of Latvian radio.
On Sunday evening, visitors and listeners of the festival park Pieci.lv live from pl .20 .00 with a musical party in the entertainment of Pieci.lv DJ Rudd, DJ Magnus Erins, and the group “Bermuda Divangis”.
On Monday, May 4, pl .10 .05 festival program from Rezekne will be launched by the LR1 programme “how to better live”. Dina Junkalne and Elvis Janson will meet with Latgale entrepreneurs to talk about innovation and tourism in the blue lake.
Pl .11 .05 works under the direction of “cultural Rondo” Ingvildas Strautmanes and Ingus Ulmanis. We will talk about the activities of the Latvian Embassy “Gors” and the activities of Latgale cultural history museum, meeting with bright Latgale cultural personalities: last year, the title of “year man in Latgalian culture” won Alexander Lubana and the leader of the Latvian Writing Museum Pieter loču. The program will be complemented by the folklore's “Bolta Queen” and the Latgale Barda Vincenta.
Pl .12 .35 On stage, the Latvian Living Officers Iveta and Vidvud Medanes, who will singer with local Latgale folklore clusters. According to the news pl .13 .05, all are invited to the “cross-point” free microphone led by journalists Aidis Thomson, Eduards Lins and Anna Platpiere.
Latvian Radio Festival from Rēzekne Festival Park pl. 14.05 The acoustic concert on the big stage will be provided by the Latvian representative of that year “Eurovision” Aminata and musician Kristaps Rasims from the group “excluding VAT”.
The events organised by Latvian radio are organised in collaboration with the city council of Rezekne and the municipality of Rezekne. We call on the people of Rezekne and the neighboring and further neighbours to join the Latvian radio team at the Rēzekne Festival Park and observe the special festival programme with Latgale population, interviews and musician concerts on 3 and 4 May! All those who won't be able to participate in events will be able to watch the video media news portal Lsm.lv, but the program will listen to Latvian radio 1 and Pieci.lv live broadcast.
