LIAA announces the spring of 2020 at 14 business incubators

Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) business incubators announce the spring of 2020 and invite new entrepreneurs and business idea authors to apply for the pre-incubation or incubation programme.
From 1 March to 20 March 2020, the acceptance of applications for participation in the incubation programme in the fourteen LAA business incubators throughout Latvia – Daugavpils, Jelgava, Jçkabpils, Jurmala, Kuldīga, Liepāja, Madona, Ogre, Rēzekne, Sigulda, Talsi, Valmiera, Ventspils and the creative industry incubator Riga will be opened. Support programmes are invited to apply for companies not registered for more than three years.
Similarly, the authors of business ideas will be able to join a 6-month pre-incubation program in one of THE IDAL business incubators. The pre-incubation is suitable for both natural and legal persons who want to assess the viability of their business idea. The acceptance of applications for pre-incubation programme in business incubators in Kuldīga, Daugavpils, Madona, Jçkabpils, Jelgava, Jurmala, Rēzekne, Ogre, Talsi, Valmiera, Ventspils and the Incubator of Creative Industries will be held from 1 March to 20 March. The Liepaja business incubator and the Sigulda business incubator will accept applications for pre-incubation from 1 April to 15 April.
Applications for pre-incubation and incubation will be available at one of 15 IDA business incubators, as well as electronically, by sending an electronic signed application to the liaa@liaa.gov.lv (time stamp of the submission deadline of edoc – up to 23:59).
In February and March, THE IDAL business incubators throughout Latvia (4 March in Rēzekne, 10 March in Ludza and 11 March in Balvi) organize info days that discuss the services provided by the incubator and support opportunities for business ideas or business development, as well as the reception procedures in the incubator. THE IDA calls for the accession of the largest new entrepreneur to the Community with a total turnover of eur 70 million and total foreign investment amounting to eur 12 million. Currently, THE IDAL business incubators have 701 participants. Of these, 249 are the authors of business ideas or companies who check the viability of their business idea in the pre-incubation program, and 452 companies are incubated. Since the establishment of THE IDAL business incubators, the pre-incubator programme has gone out of 1141 business ideas over six months.
THE purpose of THE IDAL business incubators is to support the creation and development of new, viable and competitive enterprises. THE IDAL business incubators are financed BY THE ERDF project “regional business incubators and the incubator of creative industries”.
