By August 22, a partnership promotion event can be applied for!

On September 10, 2014, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development organizes a partnership promotion measure aimed at ensuring the arrival of potential project partners of the donor countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) in Latvia so that the potential project applicant and project partner can match the issues related to the submission of the project and the necessary documentation.
The event is invited to participate in project applicants who intend to submit a project submission in one of the open competitions of the European Economic Area Financial Instrument 2009-2014 programme “National Climate Policy”:

• /wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Noteikumi_Nr_34_par_iepirkumu_organizesanu_lab_2020_veidl.docCapacity building for research and measures to improve the knowledge of society on climate change and the consequences thereof”.

The event may cover costs (airline tickets and hotel) for up to two representatives from one donor partner institution.
In order to apply for participation in the event, the prospective Latvian project applicant must fill in: application form and send to email eeagrants@varam.gov.lv by 22 August 2014. For more information on the measure, see the application form.
The measure will be financed from the European Economic Area Financial Instrument's bilateral cooperation fund.
