Luban wetlands - bird-watching days 2019

On 6 and 7 April, we invite every natural friend to the spring “bird-watching days 2019” in the nature reserve “Lubana wetlands”. On 6 April, we would go to fish ponds AT Nagļu in the village area, but on 7 April it was planned to walk along the Idean fish ponds.
On 6 April, we gathered all the participants in the event, going around 3 hours of bird-watching. We'll look at Nagļu in the world of pond birds. Gathering at 11.00. The coordinates of a more specific assembly area will be sent to the participants in the event individually. Approximate duration of travel 3-4 hours. Hiking length ~ 10-12 kilometres. A bird-watcher, a member of the Madona local group, Rudolf Cross.
On April 7, we'll go for a two-hour walk that will be more suitable for families with children. We will look at the species of bird in the fish pond of Iceland. Gathering at 11:00 at Luban Wetlands Information Centre (Aiviekstes River, Aiviekstes locks). Next journey with their transport to the starting point of the hiking. Place of hiking - Special fish ponds. Final at 13:00. After a walk, Luban wetted in the information centre and the bird quiz. Luban was wetted by the information centre.
It is recommended to select suitable clothing for the weather. If someone has a binoculum, we must take it. There is also a lunch pause during the trip, so we take the lunch bread and tea to warmer them.
Participation in hiking free of charge. In the event of a large interest in the participants, an additional bird-watching walk will be held.
