The son of a writer Anton Rupains, John from Denver (USA), Peter's children: Anna, Mary and Juris, Joseph's daughter Jadviga and Anna with families, granddaughter Elga from Mākoņkalna parish, son of John Guntis with family, neighbors, and Puric housewife Games's assistants in her big and endless work at her father's home, the relatives from Joseph's wife Vladlava's branch.
Genovein Rupaine, as always, welcomed everyone politely. She is pleased and proud of her work, grateful to her assistants, both at home and to her sister, Jadvigai, whose assistants are driving or every second week from Valmiera. (It is interesting that one of the directors of the director, the operator Ivars Selecka's documentary film “Valmiera girl” (1970 s), is exactly Joseph Ruth's daughter Jadviga Lejina (born Rupaine). At that time, Ruth's home, this movie has a filmed house yard, as well as a new censone, Valmiera glass fibre handler, Jadviga.
This time, as a month of poetry, we had gathered on poetry days. It was a stone that had been built on the base of the old house, which was built when the Pearic Sandy went out. The first house was next to the new (present) house. Then, in the place where the historic stone was once sleeping, we, the participants of the event, were gathering. The poetry was scangled to the first owners of the houses, Anne and Stanislav Ruth, and their five children: Joseph, as the owner of these houses, Anton, who had been forced to live in a stranger, Peter, who was an agronomer after the professions, Helen, who had once lived in the house near Chimoth, as well as her younger sister, Anne, who had learned and worked as a teacher in the Jelgava district in Ozolnieki. As they listened to the poetry, they fell through the tears, their ancestors remembering. An appropriate poetry was read by their own relatives, the descendants of the Ruth family: Gen, Elga, Guntis.
A family hearth fire, a singing Puric anthem “Munai People” (Elga words and music), as well as other Latvian and Latgalian, heart-close songs. There were no dancers and gifts. If at home, where there is no electricity and stove in the kitchen, Genoveff Rupaine is able to burn three to four warm meals, for roulets, different types of bread and lettuce, then it only shows that Gen is simply a genius, not only the house, but also in the kitchen and in the courtyard by the fireplace. So fragile, lightning like a butterfly, all his gods are swallowed, but at the same time as the cramps that many men are missing today!
