MAMANET also CONQUERS Rēzekne municipality

What is MAMANET? MAMANET is a team sport based on volleyball rules, with minor changes and modifications - the ball can only be caught and thrown. Two teams, six players on each side, compete in a 9 x 18 m area divided by a network. The upper edge of the network is 2.24 m. Still familiar with earlier name PIONYBALL.

This game has gained great popularity outside of Latvia's borders, now in Latvia. One of the goals of the game is - Every mum can!. Of course, any lead can play.

The game is very dynamic, moving, emotions, at the same time - simple.

Sports club (SEE) “LATGOLYS VONOGI” organizes volleyball training for women with small skills and skills. One of the exercises decided to try to play THE MAMANET. And left! 

After some time, it was revealed that the first Latvian MAMANET tournament was organised in Jçkabpils. We decided to participate, although the game's acquisition had just started. 14 teams from all Latvia and even one team from Finland came to Jçkabpils sports centre. All games took place in a friendly, gambling mood.

The “MA-LADIES” team of Rezekne was covered in one group with the Finnish team, the Zasa and the script. It was possible to see that visitors from Finland had a very high-quality team (won 1 st place in the tournament). It was an indispensable experience for our players, the ability to win their excitement, see how other teams play.

Final result - 3 losses and 1 win, joy, struggle, ambitious goals!

The training takes place in the Adamowa Manor Sport hall.
