Come out in Rēzekne High School!

We invite all stakeholders on 25 September from 18.00 (Liberation alley 115, Rezekne) on the night event of scientists. Come and light up together!
The subject of light at the night of Rezekne Higher School will survive interdisciplinary. We will start using laser technologies and other light elements for demonstrations and small experiments. “Green light” is what Latvia needs most for the economic development of Latvia, so business kicks and ideas are going to be economists. The creative scientists' night visitors will be able to engage with a light bodiac, participate in the development of alternative light models. The theme of light is particularly close to the Latgalian culture, as this year is about 110 years since the first Latvian newspaper “light” has begun, how topical its subject matter today and how to become a journalist investigator will seek to clarify the representatives of the humanitarian sciences. The cinema light will bring visitors closer to the symbolic significance of the light, which is clear by the philosophers, in their and foreign tongue. We'll all get closer to the speed of light in the night-orientation competition and think.
Interactive activities:
“Light – energy source” – work in the laboratory for research of the operation of solar batteries, experiments – energy extraction with solar battery.
“Use of innovative laser technologies” – introduction to laser work.
“How light affects the surface?” – work with lasers, surface handling in different modes, surface research in a laboratory with microscope.
“Light in food research” — analysis of food products in a chemical laboratory using optical analytical methods, data processing and interpretation.
“Literature of light in literature” — the distinctive symbol of light, its identification and sensation in sounds and colours.
“The role of light in the life of moss and lichen.” What is it, the golden gold and the cave bulb? Why do moss and lichens need light as they change in different light conditions? 'Studying moss and lichens with microscopes.
Creative workshops:
“Welcome to diode magic” – activity on diode design, operating principles. Work in the laboratory at the manufacture of microchips, the manufacture of diode-hand decorations.
“Light bodiac” – projection of the ornament or drawing on the face, photo session.
“Second breath” – the manufacture of light bodies from a variety of as unuseful goods, an exhibition of luminaires produced.
