Results of the competitions of the business projects of the municipality of Rezekne

On 6 July, the results of the projects announced by the municipality of Rezekne were cleared by the Commission at the meeting of the Commission 'Support for the creation and development of companies in the municipality of Rēzekne". Rthrough careful analysis and evaluation of each project, 11 projects were supported.

In the municipal budget, a large amount OF EUR 100 000 was planned for financing the competition, 16 project applications were submitted for the competition for a total amount of EUR 75659.28 IN accordance with the by-law, projects were evaluated, taking into account the importance of the project for the population, the contribution of the population, the sustainability of the project results and other criteria. The 11 projects supported will receive a total of EUR 52850,28. The projects were assessed by an independent and qualified jury, consisting of knowledgeable and experienced experts from a number of business-related institutions: the Rēzekne business incubator, the development finance institution “Altum”, the Rēzekne Technology Academy and the municipality of Rezekne.

The highest demand for municipal funding came from THE municipal county OF Kaunatas – IN Griškānu parish, five projects were submitted, Kaunatas and Čornajas parish – each project.

Dricānu parish will implement two projects in Dricānu parish, one project was announced in Gaigalavas parish.

Maltas, Feimaņu, Maltas, Ozolaines and Lūznavas parish each will implement one project.

Nautrēnu a single project will be implemented in Vērēmu parish, one project was also applied for IN Ilzeskalna parish. Local government funding was received by existing and emerging entrepreneurs in areas such as sports, recreational, tourism, music, textiles and improvement works.

At the time of the evaluation, the largest number of points was obtained by a project that will be implemented in the parish OF Maltas. The aim of the project is to carry out various forms of health-enhancing, reinforcing physical activity and to develop sporting growth for the people of Rezekne.
