Graduated basketball championship for women and men
In the last two weekends OF November, THE Rēzekne District Championship was held AT THE Dricānu high school sports hall.
On 23 November, three women's teams met in order to win the lead cup – the “Moseņis” and “Dricāni” team of the Rezekne team and the Rēzekne City team. By playing the 1 st place of the mutual match, “Moseņis” won 2 nd place in Rēzekne City team and 3 rd place FOR THE Dricānu team.
The most successful players in the “Moselle” team – Ginta Pavlova (37 p.), Sandra Adijane (36 p.), Arnita Poisha (17 p.), Dricānu – Ieva Kozlovska (14 p.), Snejana Kurmeikova (8 p.), Evija Kozlovska (6 p.) and Rēzekne team – Inga Kaša (33 p.), Elīza Poisha (13 p.), Diana Corklisha (8 p.) Santa Ostrovska, Christine Suite, Ginta Pavlova, Sandra Adijane, Ilona Vasilkov, Ilona Vasilkova, and Arnita Poisha played in the winner team.
The title of the best player of the competition was won by the “Moseņis” basketball player, Sandra Adijāne, of the Rēzekne District, who exercised decisive triplets in the intense “Moselle” and the Rēzekne City team match.
On 29 November, four men's teams – Viļāni, Dricāni, Lendži and Lūznava – applied for a basketball drain. The 1 st place was won by a Viļānu team, which was composed of Dmitry Orlov, Anton Voitovics, Salvis Justs, Igors Jegorov, Janis Opincan, Aris Dooda-Chachch, Yuri Meļņiks, Daniel Tutan, Kristaps Lizdics. Losing only Viļānu command, 2 nd was won BY Lūznavas team, and 3 rd place FOR Lendžu team.

Jurijs Meļņiks was recognised as the best player of the competition.
