Closed school competition “my business idea”
For the third consecutive year of the Rēzekne municipality, four secondary schools had the opportunity to participate in the competition “my business idea”, in which students of classes 7-12 were able to establish their own team and present their new business idea panel.
As a result, pupils were able to receive money prizes for their achievements, which would serve as a great starting point for the development of business ideas and for the establishment of their student training company (SONG) in the Junior Achievement Latvia programme.
Pupils' training company is a pupil-based and guided learning company whose activities have an educational character. FOR learning purposes, a real enterprise functions and operates in a real environment – pupils are producing and selling goods or services. I HAVE no legal status – they are represented by Junior Achievement Latvia and schools. I AM advising and supportive consultants who are Santa Vjakse (High School of Dricana and Nautre) and May Hartmane (Maltese and Kaunas Secondary School) in Rēzekne municipality.
Results:
Nautrene High School the first place was the 12 th grade team “I'M Lumiere”, which would be an interesting type of lamp to be bought in shops. The second place was the idea of “I'M Flying Colors” on original earrings that are now very popular among young people. The third place was received by the “SONG Saw” team, forming a variety of battleys, such as T-shirts, bandans, hair rubber, bags etc.
Dricana Secondary School the first-place winners are large wooden recognizers, the “SONG PP” team consists of wooden branch hanging medals, jewelry, keys, and other details, and their offer includes laptop pallets, their use in bed, as well as phone pallets for more convenient charging. In this secondary school, the second place is divided by two teams, the “SONG T-Land” team deals with the printing of T-shirts with sneezing technology. The printout team has chosen a variety of fun motto. The other team, “SONG Latgolys Ruth”, makes up clothing and bag accessories, the details of which will find motivating slogans. The third place was won by the girls' team “SONG like a Diamond”, which would form gift sets from embroidered T-shirts, self-prepared lipstick gloss and personified sweets.
Maltese High School the first place was “I'M DKA”, who was working for a second year. This year this WILL offer epoxy resin earrings and other accessories. In the second place, with a very small score of points, “I'M Charm” ranked, offering today's face-to-face facial masks in modern design. The third place in Maltese High School was “SONG SHEMEN”, which plans to make key cards from the veneer, which will have an original design and will be built on CNC mills.
Kaunatas High School three completely new teams have been formed this year, which have received the first three seats in this competition. The first-place winners, “Razna pearls”, will produce souvenirs from local natural materials, while “I'M Vishenki” this year. The third-place winners, “I'M Grinkicki”, have chosen to produce decorative cosmetics.
As a whole, 13 school students have already been established in Rezekne municipality, who are committed to performing throughout the course of the school year in collaboration with the Junior Achievement Latvia program. This is a unique opportunity to feel how it is to be a businessman, so we also call on other students of these high school students to think about the establishment of their training company.
