The natural reserve “Luban wetlands” is located in the parish of Madona municipality, Barkava, Ošupes and Indrans, the municipality of Gulbenes, the municipality of Dcold and Stradu parish, the parish of the awards, the parish of Lazdukalna and Berzpils, the municipality of Rezekne, Gaigalavas, Nagļu and Dekšāres parish, as well as the municipality of Varakalans in the territory of Varakļana parish.

The public consultation meetings of the nature conservation plan “Luban wetlands” will be held at:

•  30 January at 17.00 - Gulbenes municipality in the third floor hall of the local government building, 2, Gulbene, Gulbene municipality;
•  31 January at 17.00 - In the premises of the Degumnieku People's House, Schools street 4, Degumnieki, Madona municipality; 
• 1 February at 10.00 - Varakalans in the Cultural House, 1 May Area 4, Varakalans, Varakalans municipality;
• 1 February at 14.00 - Berzpils parish house, garden street 25a, Berzpils, Berzpils parish, awards municipality;
• 1 February at 17.00 - Gaigalavas in the cultural house, Rēzekne street 2, Gaigalava, Gaigalavas parish, Rezekne municipality.

From 9 January, the plan will be accessible electronically on the website “www.enviro.lv” and with its printed version and related documents to stakeholders individually will be able to be consulted at the meetings of the public consultation meetings, the dates and locations mentioned above.
