Ozo young people find street gymnastics

At the beginning of November, Ozolaines parish Baxter, a new street gymnastic area was discovered at the football and volleyball grounds, where everyone was invited to strengthen their physical form and actively spend their free time, introducing street gymnastics. Trainers purchased for funding obtained by winning Narvesen “Day as an adventure” in the organised project competition, where the best initiatives to support the active lifestyle of young people were identified throughout Latvia.
In the newly opened street gymnastic area, balance bars, horizontal ladder, pull rods and other trainers to be used to improve each physical preparedness and correspond to the specificities of street gymnastics are installed.
The idea of street trainers came from the people themselves before good time. When you had an opportunity to write a project and participate Narvesen in the project competition, it was clear that there was an opportunity to realise the idea in life. The young people admit that there was no easy time because they had to collect voices and fight their competitors who had also written a project for the purchase of street trainers. Together, it succeeded! The victory in the competition was the opportunity for young people to realise themselves and motivate to do more, so this project is not the only one that Ozo young people will be in the near future.
The young people of Ozo want to thank everyone who helped and supported this project with their votes. Just thanks to your support, we managed to realize one of my dreams and get to street gymnastics.
Thanks to the council of the Rēzekne council, the youth case specialist Guntim Rasim, who had come to congratulate the young people and gave the florball clubs. Thank you FOR THE Ozolaines parish manager Edgar Blinov, who always supports Ozo Young Young people, also this time, and giving young people the reflectors that are so much needed in this dark period for children and young people. Thank you also FOR Ozolmuižas and Dricānu for young people who had come to congratulate us! Thank anyone who came and was happy with us.
THE project submitted by Ozolaines young people this summer was recognised as one of the best projects of Latvian youth organisations, which promote the opportunities for young people to play an active and useful part in the free time. In the final of the competition “Day as a adventure”, the Ozo project received 2466 votes in the final vote. Narvesen eur 2 000 allocated.
Project contest “Day as an adventure” is implemented Narvesen in collaboration with the journal Ieva and the bank Citadele. It aims at supporting the best initiatives to promote active lifestyles among young people throughout Latvia. The competition took place between 21 May and 8 August and at the time of the 41 applications, five best project ideas were identified, for which: Narvesen awarded a funding of €10 000.
