On the movement by means of craft in the natural reserve “Lubana wetlands”

The Nature Protection Board shall inform regarding the procedures in force when navigating by waterways and watercourses in the territory of the natural reserve “Lubana wetlands”. In the picture attached, any interested party can find out where and what restrictions are in force.
For example, from 16 June, the natural reserve “Luban wetlands” in the Nature Park area (Luban Lake and Rēzekne river) is permitted to navigate by means of vessels using internal combustion engines with a power not exceeding 7,46 kW. The above-mentioned vessels can be used here until 1 March. On the other hand, Aiviekste (cadastre No 70580060034), using internal combustion engines with a power not exceeding 7,46 kW, is permitted to move between 21 June and 15 March.

As of April 10, 2015, amendments to the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers “Personal Protection and Use Regulations of the Natural Resistance Lubana Wetlands” (10.02.2009, No. 135) have been reported. They determine changes in forestry activity, the construction of tourism infrastructure, the organisation of mass events, etc. in the relevant territory.
