Food packages are delivered to pupils again, as well as school milk and fruit in classes 7-9!

On the basis of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers that from 26 October to 6 December 2020 in educational institutions the acquisition of the General Basic Education Programme and the General Secondary Education Programme in Classes 7-12 is carried out remotely, a decision was taken at the Rēzekne District Council on 5 November that all the students of the Rezekne municipality, who are studying remotely, must be provided with food packages. Food packages for the period from 16 November to 4 December (14 remote school days) shall be issued to all students of the Rēzekne municipality in classes 7-12 beginning with November 26.

In addition to food packages, the pupils of Classes 7-9 will also receive milk and fruit in the framework of the product distribution programme “milk and fruit school” for the month of November. The supply process shall be organised in accordance with the binding regulations of the local government, taking into account all epidemiological safety measures for restricting the spread of Covid-19 infection.
