Reconstruction of municipal gravel roads in Rezekne municipality
The Regional Agricultural Administration of the Rural Support Service has assessed and supported the project submission of the municipality of Rezekne (No. 17-01-a00702-000052 “Improvement of municipal road infrastructure in Rezekne municipality, 1 st round”, which was submitted to the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development in the framework of the Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 “Basic services and village renewal in rural areas”), which provides for the conversion of three local government gravel roads into the territory of the municipality.
Project No 17-01-a00702-000052 “Improving the municipal road infrastructure in the Rēzekne District, 1 st round”:
- motorway No. 4629 Čornaja – Black Dukstigal 1 st round 1.800 km Rēzekne municipality in THE parish of Čornajas. A contract for the performance of works has been concluded with THE “Kauno bridge”, the construction supervision of which will be performed BY SIA “KEM”. Construction works commenced in the month of August of that year;
- road No 8814 Hatki – Pustinka and No. 8816 Hatki - Bodrovka1 - 3.831 km of Rēzekne municipality in THE parish of Silmalas. A contract with SUCH “roads and bridges” has been entered into regarding the performance of works, the construction supervision of which will be performed BY SIA “KEM”. Construction works commenced in the month of August of that year;
- motorway No. 5611 Chapkova – Geikina 1.157 km Rēzekne municipality in THE parish of Griškānu. A contract with SIA “RIVIERA L” has been entered into for the performance of construction works, the construction supervision of which will be performed BY SIA “KEM”. Construction works are planned to be launched in the month of October of that year.
The aim of the project is to improve the quality of the gravel roads of the municipality of Rezekne for the promotion of rural business and ensuring the reach of the local population.
The eligible costs of the project are EUR 1 061 504.30, the public funding allocated is EUR 955 353.87.
The implementation of the project is planned until 31 August 2019.
