Local government information stalls where the placement of pre-election campaigning materials in public-use outdoors or against outdoor public use is possible

According to the binding regulations of the municipality of Rēzekne, a fee is provided for the placement of pre-election campaigning material in a public place - eur 8.00 for placement of pre-election campaigning material in one place. 

Pre-election campaigning materials may be placed only after agreement has been reached with the relevant party regarding the placement of pre-election campaigning material in the external premises of the public use or against the outdoor of public use, which is signed by the chairperson of the council Monvīds Švarcs or the vice-president OF the council Ērika Teirumnieka. The agreement shall be concluded after receipt of the submission of the party authorised by the party, and shall provide for the time in which the campaigning materials (start and end time) are located.

After the conclusion of the agreement, the financial and accounting department shall issue the invoice to the relevant party, upon receipt of the invoice received, the party is entitled to place the materials of pre-election campaigning.

After agreement with the relevant party on the placement of pre-election campaigning material in public-use externalities or against outdoors of public use, the municipality of Rēzekne shall send a notification TO THE CPCB regarding the planned placement of pre-election campaigning material, which includes information regarding which party performs the placement, how many places and what payment has been made for the campaigning materials, etc.
