The Latvian local government has received the invitation of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Latvia Oleksandra Michchenko's call to Latvia's municipalities to express support to Ukraine in its struggle against Russian military aggression, on the day of Ukrainian uniformity, 16 February, by lifting masts at local government council buildings on the flag of Ukraine. The plīvo-blue Ukrainian flag of the municipality of Rēzekne is also located, confirming our unity with the Ukrainian people who love their land and do not give it to anyone!
