Applications for free training organised BY THE SEA in the remote education platform “Coursera” may also be employed by workers at risk of unemployment

As from 11 November of that year, the State Employment Agency (SEA) offers an opportunity to learn from a remote education platform.Coursera'also workers at risk of unemployment. Free training in the remote education platform “Coursera” must be applied TO THE SEA by 14 December 2020.

International Remote Education Platform “Coursera'offers more than 3.8 thousand courses around 400 specialists.'Coursera“Course programmes have been developed by educational institutions of different countries, including well-known universities such as Harvard, Oxford, Yale and others. In the framework of the covid-19 mitigation initiative“ Coursera for WorkForce Recovery ”, the UNEMPLOYED persons registered IN THE SEA, jobseekers and workers at risk of unemployment are offered courses that will help to enter the labour market and prepare for further education, improve psychological resilience, improve digital entrepreneurship and other skills.

Workers at risk of unemployment for free training in the remote education platform “Coursera” may apply FOR AN SEA if they are aged 15 years to the age of retirement and meet one of the following criteria:

• is an employed person or self-employed person who has reached the age of 50 years;
• is an employed person or self-employed person who has insufficient education or skills for labour market requirements;
• is an employed person or self-employed person who has a disability or predictable disability or a person after temporary incapacity which has continuously lasted for at least four months;
• is an employed person who resides in an area with low economic activity;
• is the person to whom the contract of employment is addressed.

Both unemployed persons and jobseekers registered IN SEA and workers at risk of unemployment in the remote education platform “Coursera” may login electronically in: 

After filling in the application within a few days, the e-mail address specified in the application will be sent to:Coursera'Invitation to join, select a program and start training.

Learn to learn and get a certificate for “Courserathe completion of courses may be completed if the training is logged in and started by 14 December of that year, but completed by 15 February 2021.
