Project contest “Support for start-up and development of entrepreneurship in Rezekne municipality” - 16 project applications supported in 2020

This year, 30 business ideas were announced in the Rēzekne Municipality Support Project competition, from which 16 project applications were supported for a total of 65 251 euros. The largest project offer this year was in the tourism sector, which supported eight projects.

Similarly, municipal support was received by existing and emerging entrepreneurs in areas such as water supply, production and processing of products, production of confectionery, catering, car maintenance and repair, chemical cleaning and wood processing.

The territorial coverage of the projects applied for covers 18 parish counties of Rezekne, of which projects supported are 10 parish. Three projects are supported IN Kaunatas parish, with two projects representing Lendžu and Griškānu parish, while one application is supported BY Sakstagala, Bērzgales, Dricānu, Vērēmu, Kantinieku, Maltas and Stružānu parish.
