Pušā implemented the project of youth initiatives - Velomaraton “brings Leigou!”

On 22 June, on 22 June, in THE parish OF Pušas, a cyclo-araton “brings Leigou!” was held for a second year. 18 young people had applied for the competition, but only eight participants from 10 –30 years of the various parish of Rezekne municipality dared to resist the rainy and cool time. A 16 km long road around Pušas lake, both along the forest and gravel and asphalt, had to be measured by the participants with bicycles.
The winner of the competition was Maltas parish, Edgars Jasmans, who performed the distance 34 min. 45,76 sec A half-year-old Alexander Kudrjashaw, who left the winner for 7 minutes, took a distance in 41 mins. 41,18 sec On the other hand, the 3 rd place remained THE parish of Griškānu, Aldis Butlers, who took a distance of 44 min. and 8.59 sec.
All participants in the competition received valuable prizes, diplomas, medals and cups, which were treated with financial support of the municipality of Rēzekne municipality and Pušas parish administration.
Velomaraton tapis Rezekne is led by an educational administration in the framework of the project of youth initiatives. The aim of the project was to promote cycling, cycling and orientation as all accessible leisure and health-enhancing sports, promoting bicycles as an environment and a man-friendly vehicle, promoting meaningful leisure spending among children, young people and adults. The velomaratone gave an opportunity to explore interesting, cultural and historical sites IN THE area OF Pušas parish and to strengthen the friendship between the young people of Rezekne.
Liga velomaratone Pušā has already become a good tradition. Also, next year, the boys will be willing to wait for a more fluid number of participants and spend the most active towlers!
