Bird-watching excursion in Razna National Park

Millions of migratory birds cross Europe in autumn to go to wintering in Africa. BirdLife International, Latvian Ornithological Society, Nature Protection Board and Latvian Environment Protection Fund invite to be witness bird migration magic on 1 and 2 October in the European bird-watching days. Join more than 30 free events in various locations in Latvia (the list is searched www.putnudienas.lv ) or observe the birds himself and report them to the Dabasdati.lv.
On October 1, the event of the European bird-watching day will also take place in Razna National Park (bird-watching excursion with bus, activity at the centre of nature education ”Razna). Dagnis Vasilevsky will lead the bird watching excursion.
Gathering at the Riga Regional Administration Bureau in Rēzekne, carpenter street 8 (in the parking area at RIMI and CITADELE). Departure at 9.00, returning to Rezekne around 14.00.
Route - Rēzekne – Čornaja (bird-watching in Razna Lake Dukstigal Bay) – seal (bird-watching at Lake Kaunatas and Razna Lake) - Lipuški (bird-watching at Razna Lake, activity at the Nature Education Centre “Razna”) — Zosna (bird watching in Zosnas mitraine, Razna and Zosna lakes) -- Ismers (bird watching at the Ismera Lake and its surroundings) — Rezekne.
In the event of prior agreement, participation in the event may be joined by one of the starting points of the route.

Clothing and footwear suitable for weather conditions, preferably binoculars.
The event is organised within the framework of the project “reveals bird migration magic!” and the participation in it is free.
